The illness is still lingering in our house and it seems that Gilbert is the only healthy person right now. Matthew's fever broke on Friday and he's been okay since then. Febrile seizures are not fun. Ever. I'm still fighting this darn cough and Elise seems to have come down with something else... It's never going to end is it?
Our living room is painted! The ceiling needs to be cut in still, but it's gone from looking like this:

It's so nice now that we have some variation in color throughout two rooms in the house. There's more to come.
Halloween was fun. We were going to dress Matthew up as Optimus Prime but opted out of spending the $20 on a costume if he wasn't going to wear the mask. Instead, we decided to just put his Batman pj's on him and let him go trick-or-treating in that. Elise was the cutest Tinkerbell EVER. She spent most of our time walking around outside wrapped in a blanket, but she still looked flipping cute.
Jason borrowed Gilbert's Han Solo costume to wear to work and we put the headpiece of Matthew's first costume on Elise. Matthew was 6 weeks old when he wore this and it barely fit Elise at 7 months.
We went down to our friends' house to take the kids trick-or-treating. It's always insane in their neighborhood. They get tons of kids coming through and the kids get lots of candy.
