It's been a couple of weeks and I have lots of pictures to share. Matthew is now 3 months old. He weighs about 15 lbs and is about 25 inches long. He has slept through the night 3 nights in the last week. I'm hoping he starts sleeping through the night every night soon. He's cooing and smiling a lot. We're having fun with our boy and we're enjoying watching him grow. Here are some new everyday pictures:

Matthew "talking" to me

Well, Matthew slept almost 9 hours straight last night!!! He has his last feeding of the day at 9pm and he usually wakes up around 3am to eat but last night he slept through it. I woke up at 5:15 and realized he hadn't woken up at all. I checked on him and he was still sound asleep. He didn't wake up until 6:15! I usually feed him at 7am and we start our day so that wasn't too bad. I'm hoping this becomes a habit and he actually makes it all the way to 7am.



Matthew didn't want to wake up for his diaper change and last feeding. I set him down on his changing pad and he rolled onto his side and kept sleeping. Silly boy.

My little stinker

Sorry it's been a while. I have tons of pictures I want to post but I haven't been able to resize them yet.

Matthew is 2 months old now and he's getting BIG. He weighed in at 12 lbs even and was 22.5 in long at his 2 month appointment. He did good with his shots. He was fussy for a little bit but that was all. Since then I think he's gained a bit of weight and when I weighed him the other day he weighed about 13 lbs. I'm not sure how reliable that scale is, though. He's also starting to outgrow his 0-3 month clothes. I was a little sad the other day when I realized that the only onesie that came close to fitting him when he was born is way too tight now.

Matthew has discovered the wonder that is Daddy's 60 inch TV. He likes to be held facing out so I carry him around the house this way. Well, while I was doing this I realized his eyes were glued to the TV. Now if I change his diaper on the floor in the living room he'll try to turn so he can see the TV. He's also smiling a lot more now. It's fun to get reactions out of him when I play with him.

Matthew and I decided to stay home today. His sleep has been a bit off the last few nights and I'm wondering if it's the time change. The only reason I'm not completely sure that's what's causing it is that his nap and feeding times are still okay. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Well, Matthew made it through his first trick-or-treat experience. We started the day off on an interesting note because Matthew didn't want Mommy to take his picture. The day got better from there, though. We met up with our friend John and his two girls and we took our friend Brady's kids with us. Gilbert dressed up, too and the kids loved it. Matthew actually fell asleep almost as soon as we started out on the street but we still enjoyed taking him. Here are the pictures of Matthew's first Halloween:
