Just a quick update to say that we're home. We have no power but the house is in great shape. We have running water, gas, and lots of candles. They're saying that power may not be fully restored until October 6th so it could be a while. We don't know. Gas is scarce, grocery stores are pretty empty, and there are a lot of people running generators. Luckily Sam's Club is fully stocked and they're not accepting new memberships so we still have access to most things.
Matthew's birthday party has been canceled but the family is still flying in for the weekend to be with us. Internet access isn't easy to come by so I'll try to update as soon as I can.
